A highly anticipated ship from the Crystal Cruises’ fleet, Crystal Endeavor is set to offer one of the world’s most luxurious expedition yachts following her inaugural season in August 2020.
Crystal Cruises unveil Endeavor’s itineraries
It has been revealed that the yacht will set sail to some of the world’s most far-reaching and fascinating regions, including Japan, Russia, New Zealand and Antarctica. Itineraries will vary between 12 and 22 nights, with many tropical wildlands waiting to be discovered.
Crystal President and CEO, Tom Wolber, said:
““Every facet of Crystal Endeavor is meant to take travellers beyond their previous travel boundaries and expectations. Her exceptional design, luxury accommodations and amenities have already set the stage for this, and now, as we unveil her first six months of journeys, travellers have a tremendous glimpse of the grand discoveries in store for this groundbreaking yacht.
“Crystal Endeavor will take guests to remote destinations not typically accessible on a cruise, as well as some iconic places, albeit with a decidedly adventurous twist.”
Each of the ports on offer will provide guests with insight into local activities and lifestyles, with excursions featuring hiking, biking, kayaking, snorkelling, diving, helicopter and Zodiac tours, encounters with wildlife and much more.
The ship will also follow seasonal shifts in weather, following the sun to warmer destinations as well as its visits to the Antarctic shores. This offers guests the chance to enjoy the varying terrains and climates which the world has on offer.
Crystal Endeavor’s itinerary highlights include:
- Her maiden voyage to Russia and Japan, featuring ports such as Russia’s dramatic Kamchatka Peninsula and the wildlife-rich Kuril Islands, as well as Japan’s northern island of Rishiri.
- A sailing to Southeast Asia, visiting regions across the Philippines, Borneo and Indonesia, with wildlife encounters and natural wonder galore including the Taroko Gorge, Hundred Islands National Park and the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.
- New Zealand exploration sailing from Sydney to Christchurch, with six full days exploring Tasmania’s natural landscapes as well as visits to the Fjordland and Freycinet National Parks.
- Antarctica and The Ross Sea Exploration, visiting Scott and Shackleton’s historic huts, expedition cruising through the Balleny Islands and Ross Sea, as well as experiencing glacier landings and pack ice cruising.
