How do you I get my luggage tags? How soon before departure will they arrive?
You don’t always have to use luggage tags specific for the line you are cruising with and providing you affix a clearly-labeled tag with your name, address and phone number, you’ll be complying with your line’s baggage policy but it’s best to check your line’s terms and conditions to be sure. Some lines may feel the need to replace non-line-specific tags with their own, for example, if they use a colour-coding system, while others will automatically supply you with them at your embarkation port if you don’t have them attached for any reason. However, if your line specifies that you must use the luggage tags which it provides, or you feel happier using their tags, the procedure of obtaining them is similar, whichever luxury line you travel with. With most of the luxury cruise lines, after you’ve booked yourself online or through an agent, you’ll receive a brochure from the line, containing all the information about your cruise you’ll need and within the brochure you’ll find your luggage tags. This will typically arrive around three weeks before you sail, but it can arrive earlier or later.
With Azamara Club Cruises, once you’ve booked your cruise, received your electronic travel documents and have been assigned your stateroom number, you can request complimentary luggage tags from Azamara Club Cruises. To do this you need to travel to the online check-in section of the line’s website, log in with your name, ship and cruise date details and select ‘request’ in the luggage tags section. These tags will be posted to your give address and will be colour-coded and customized to your ship, sailing date and stateroom or suite number. If you’ve not booked online and are receiving printed travel documents, the tags will be included when you receive your documents. You’ll typically receive these soon after you complete your online log-in, but no later than 10 days before you sail.
