Oceania Cruises to host TV chef Jacques Pépin on culinary cruise

Foodie cruise lovers are in for a rare treat in July next year, with luxury line Oceania Cruises’ recent announcement that French author and TV chef Jacques Pépin will be on board the Oceania Riviera for a one-off culinary voyage.

Regular travellers with Oceania may already be aware that Pépin is the cruise line’s executive culinary director, bringing his award-winning commitment to good food and drink to the cruise line’s restaurants at sea.

Pépin will be providing guests aboard the Oceania Riviera with complimentary cooking demonstrations and guest lectures, and will also be taking some time for book signings and paid cookery classes in the Riviera’s dedicated Bon Appetit culinary centre.

This luxury voyage is a food lover’s dream, with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take personal cooking lessons from a chef who quite literally wrote the book on the fundamentals of French cuisine – and has prepared meals for none other than Barack Obama.

This one-off opportunity takes place aboard the Oceania Riviera during its Iberian Inspiration voyage, departing Lisbon on 7th July 2015 for Spain, France and Italy.
