Seabourn launches new culinary experiences on Ovation

It feels like a lifetime ago since construction work began on Seabourn Ovation, but now, as her inaugural cruise nears, a whole host of exciting details are being announced. The latest concerns Ovation’s dining, and it sounds suitably indulgent!

A fanciful gelato program

There is just one thing that could make the thought of an ice cold gelato even better: unique new flavours that will tantalise your tastebuds.

On Seabourn Ovation’s luxury cruises, milk and fruit-based gelato will be made fresh every day, and will be available at various venues throughout the ship. However, rather than classic strawberry and vanilla flavours, this menu includes a handful of fanciful combinations. Savour milk-based gelatos ranging from amarena cherry and bourbon vanilla to extra virgin olive oil flavour. And if you are craving something fruit-based, enjoy blood orange, rhubarb, and kumquat flavours.

Though this gelato program will make its debut on-board Seabourn Encore in April, it will be rolled out to Seabourn Ovation shortly after, and will be available fleet-wide by early 2019.
