We’re cruising to Barbados on the Silver Spirit in the autumn. What is the weather likely to be like?
The Autumn in Barbados is the hurricane season, but don’t let that worry you – it’s extremely rare for the island to actually be hit by a hurricane, they usually pass by and the last major one to strike was way back in 1955. However it is the time that you’re likely to experience tropical rainstorms, although these don’t spoil the day as they usually dry off quite quickly.
Temperatures are warm, varying in the season between averages of 23 and 31 degrees C during the day, which does give the island a very humid atmosphere.
