What currency is needed when cruising in Tangiers?
Tangiers is a popular port city in Morocco, where the currency is the Moroccan Dirham, so it’s a good idea to take some Darahim (the plural term for the currency) with you if your cruise includes a visit to Tangiers. The currency is sometimes difficult to find in the UK however, and though some agents, post offices and airports may have it in stock, it’s a good idea to order online. If you can’t order any of the currency before you travel, don’t worry, as you can easily change pounds sterling in the city itself or obtain cash from an ATM.
